چکیده

Ni-based catalysts have been extensively investigated because of their superior catalytic performance. In this study, the Ni-La/Al2O3-CaO-C catalyst was prepared by homogeneous precipitation, employed in co-pyrolysis soybean straw with polyethylene to produce hydrogen. The optimal experimental conditions were identified discussing carrier synthesis ratio, feedstock and addition La. Additionally, stability evaluated. It established that produced using a molar raw ingredients ratio 5:5, optimum action obtained when La added. Co-pyrolysis (PE) catalyzed generated 55.45 vol% H2 under ideal circumstances. After six applications, yield 33.89 vol%, compared 27.5 for Ni/Al2O3-CaO-C catalyst. results indicate exhibits activity than Ni/Al2O3-CaO-C.

Hydrogen-Rich Gas Production from Steam Gasification of Biomass using CaO and a Fe-Cr Water-Gas Shift Catalyst

The technical feasibility of using calcium oxide (CaO) as a sorbent for CO2 and Fe-Cr as a catalyst for the water-gas shift (WGS) reaction using syngas for the steam gasification of biomass was investigated. The effects of temperature, steam to biomass mass ratio, CaO to biomass molar ratio, and Fe-Cr WGS catalyst on gas composition were studied. Within a temperature range of 250 C to 550 C, ...

Production of fuel - cell grade hydrogen by sorption enhanced water gas shift reaction using Pd / Ni - Co catalyst

It has been demonstrated both thermodynamically and experimentally that fuel-cell grade hydrogen can be produced by a one-step sorption enhanced water gas shift (SEWGS) process at about 500 oC, where the water gas shift (WGS) catalyst and the CO2 sorbent are highly integrated. A synthetic CaO-based mixed oxide sorbent was also assessed, which showed a good CO2 capture capacity and stability in ...

Fe−Ni−MCM-41 Catalysts for Hydrogen-Rich Syngas Production from Waste Plastics by Pyrolysis−Catalytic Steam Reforming

A two-stage pyrolysis−catalytic steam reforming process was used with mesoporous MCM-41 supported iron and nickel bimetallic catalysts for hydrogen-rich syngas production from a simulated mixture of waste plastics. Different Fe/Ni weight ratios (00:20, 05:15, 10:10, 05:15, and 20:00) have been investigated to determine the influence on hydrogen production. The results showed that the presence o...

Hydrogen Rich Fuel Gas Production from 2- Propanol Using Pt/Al2O3 and Ni/Al2O3 Catalysts in Supercritical Water

Hydrogen is an important chemical in many industries and it is expected to become one of the major fuels for energy generation in the future. Unfortunately, hydrogen does not exist in its elemental form in nature and therefore has to be produced from hydrocarbons, hydrogen-containing compounds or water. Above its critical point (374.8C and 22.1MPa), water has lower density and viscosity, and a ...

Hydrogen rich gas production via nano-catalytic gasification of bagasse in supercritical water

Ru/Al2O3 nano-catalysts were prepared with impregnation and microemulsion techniques. The supercritical water gasification reaction was performed at 400oC and 5-60 min. Within the tested operation conditions, the reaction residence time of 15 min was the optimum to maximize the H2 yield. It was observed that using microemulsion technique increases the total gas yield significantly. Using microe...
